What We Fixed

UI Loading Issues Resolved

If you’ve experienced TotalEQ MK2’s interface not loading correctly in certain DAWs—whether on Mac or Windows—this update fixes that. The plugin now opens cleanly and consistently, every time.

What was happening:
Some users reported the UI failing to initialize properly in specific DAW/OS combinations, requiring restart or workarounds.

What’s fixed:
Complete rewrite of UI initialization routine ensures proper loading across all supported DAW environments.

Logic Pro AU Validation Fixed

Logic Pro users, we heard you. The AU validation issue that prevented Logic from properly recognizing TotalEQ MK2 is now resolved.

What was happening:
Logic’s AU validation would occasionally fail, forcing users to manually re-scan or work around the issue.

What’s fixed:
AU component now passes all Logic validation checks. No more manual intervention required—TotalEQ MK2 shows up reliably in your plugin list.

Windows EQ Controls: Precise & Responsive

We’ve eliminated the strange behavior some Windows users experienced with EQ control handling.

What was happening:
On Windows, EQ points would occasionally respond erratically to mouse input—jumping, lagging, or behaving unpredictably.

What’s fixed:
Overhauled input handling on Windows platform. Control response is now as smooth and immediate as it should be, matching macOS behavior.

Enhanced Spectrum Analyzer

The real-time spectrum display is now more accurate and reactive, giving you better visual feedback while you work.

What’s improved:

  • More precise frequency analysis across the spectrum
  • Faster response to transient content
  • Smoother display refresh, less visual noise
  • Better low-frequency resolution

The analyzer is a critical reference tool—this update makes it even more trustworthy.

General UI Performance Improvements

Beyond the specific fixes, we’ve optimized the overall interface performance.

Performance gains:

  • Reduced UI latency when adjusting parameters
  • Faster redraw during real-time playback
  • Smoother animation and visual feedback
  • Lower CPU overhead from interface rendering

The result: Less time waiting for the UI to catch up, more focus on your mix.
