HoRNet TotalEQ MK2 – The Versatile Equalizer Plugin
HoRNet TotalEQ MK2 is a flexible, visual equalizer plugin designed to streamline your workflow from problem-solving to sound shaping. Whether you’re mixing vocals, taming harsh frequencies, or adding analog-style warmth to a sterile source, TotalEQ MK2 adapts to your needs with speed and precision.
Visual Control, Instant Feedback
With up to 36 bands, this plugin puts every filter directly onto a real-time spectral display. Just double-click to create a band exactly where you hear a problem. Drag to adjust frequency and gain, scroll to shape the Q — all with immediate visual and sonic feedback.
- Clear input/output spectrum view
- Color-coded EQ and dynamic curves
- Mouse-based interaction: drag, scroll, select
- Solo, mute, and multi-band editing
Add Analog Color Where It Counts
More than a corrective tool, TotalEQ MK2 is a creative equalizer plugin. Each band includes optional analog-style saturation with independent amount control, so you can enhance body, presence or aggression exactly where needed.
- Analog emulation per band
- Saturation amount: 1 to 10
- Global analog/saturation toggles
- Subtle warmth or rich harmonic color
Perfect for sound design, vocal tone enhancement, or giving digital sources some analog soul.
One-Click Balance
Want a fast tonal fix? Hit AUTO. TotalEQ MK2’s dual-engine analysis corrects EQ imbalances in two steps:
- HarmoniQ removes resonances and inconsistencies
- BalancEQ adjusts tonal tilt and adds a clean high-pass filter
It’s like having a second pair of expert ears — automated.
Built for Real-World Workflow
- Resizable, hardware-accelerated interface
- Light/dark/auto theme modes
Demo
The demo is fully functional except for the fact that every now and then it will silence out, you cannot save parameter values with your session and the plugin will not respond to automation coming from the host.

Copy protection
The HoRNet TotalEQ MK2 has no copy protection, we don’t believe in copy protection, they are always cracked and they are annoying for the users, we all know you are not going to give away the plugin on the internet…
So simply download the plugin and enjoy your recordings!
Love this, really powerful tool.
Some constructive feedback – would like the db curves for the pass filters to be selectable as in v1. Also having some problems in Reason where the GUI is zoomed/cropped when you open an instance (having been ok when setting up the EQ curve initially).
I guess the EQ is doing some sort of target curve matching (to pink noise?) for the auto balance. It would be cool if the target curve was selectable, or even can be captured itself from another audio source, so we could use the same tool to EQ match. Just a suggestion since it seems like 90+% of the functionality is there?
The dynamic section is really powerful for mastering and probably for just about anything else too! There are still some “bugs” with this initial release or at least I have them on my old system (crasher Reaper, when opening the GUI or when using the AUTO feature), but hopefully they’ll be ironed out later on! (that stuff could be my old comoputer acting up, though) Thanks!
