DoIn 2 brings your purchased plugins, demos, installation status, and selection tools into a clear new interface. Pick what you need, choose the formats your DAW uses, and install in one batch.

01 / Get started

Install DoIn. Sign in. You're ready.

On macOS

Download the DoIn 2 DMG and open it.
Drag HoRNet DoIn into your Applications folder.
Open DoIn from Applications.

On Windows

Download the DoIn ZIP.
Extract the archive to a folder on your computer.
Run the HoRNet DoIn executable. Approve the Windows permission prompt when requested.

Use your HoRNet account

Enter your username or email and password, then click Login. You can choose Remember my credentials on this device on your own computer.

New here? Click Create account in DoIn, fill in your username, email, and password, confirm the password, and click Register. If you need to reset your password, use the password recovery page on our website.

02 / Catalog + formats

Your collection. Or your next demo.

Choose My Plugins to browse the products in your HoRNet account, or switch to Demos to try a plugin before buying.

Select the formats you want to install: VST3, AU, or AAX. You can choose more than one format for the same batch.

Pick formats for your DAW. AU is macOS-only. The formats installed depend on what's included in each plugin package.

03 / Browse + select

See what's available. Know what's installed.

The Available and Installed tabs separate plugins ready to install from those already detected on your computer.

Tick the checkbox beside each plugin you want.
Check your format selection in the sidebar.
Click Install selected in the bar that appears when items are selected.

DoIn downloads the packages and installs the selected formats. Follow the progress and activity log, and approve any system permission request.

04 / Batch installs + updates

A whole collection. One selection.

Setting up a new computer? Use Select all / clear all to select your current catalog, or Show & select not installed to focus on plugins that are missing.

Use Show & select updates to select plugins with a detected newer version. Review the selection, then click Install selected to update them in one batch.

Update detection depends on the version information available for each plugin. You stay in control of when to install.

05 / Manual access

The manual. Without the folder hunt.

Go to Installed and use the Manual button on a plugin to open its user guide.

If the manual is already on your computer, DoIn opens it directly. If it's missing, DoIn downloads the plugin package and retrieves the manual for you.

Manual retrieval requires an internet connection and a manual included in the plugin package.

A few practical answers.

Is HoRNet DoIn 2 free?

Yes. DoIn is a free installer and manager for HoRNet plugins. Purchased plugins appear in your account, and demos are available in the Demos catalog.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes, to sign in, load the online catalog, and download plugins or missing manuals. A manual already saved on your computer can be opened locally.

Does DoIn 2 install VST2 plugins?

DoIn 2 offers VST3, AU, and AAX installation. AU is available only on macOS. If you need another format included with your purchase, download its package from your HoRNet account and install it manually.

Will DoIn update plugins automatically?

No. DoIn helps you find and select available updates. You review the selection and start the installation yourself.

Can I stop an installation?

Use Cancel in the installation progress window. DoIn stops when the current operation can be interrupted safely, so cancellation may not be immediate.

Do I have to use DoIn?

No. You can still download purchased plugins from your HoRNet account and install them manually. If you need help, visit HoRNet support.
