HoRNet TrackShaper: The “Mix on Autopilot” Utility for Effortless Sound Shaping
The HoRNet TrackShaper is a groundbreaking plugin designed for those who want to achieve great-sounding tracks without spending countless hours tweaking individual settings. Whether you’re working on a mixing project or need to streamline your workflow, TrackShaper takes the guesswork out of the process, allowing you to focus more on creativity and less on technical details. With TrackShaper, you can rely on a smart, efficient tool that automatically adjusts the essential parameters to make your tracks sound polished and professional.
A Powerful Foundation Built on HoRNet ChannelStrip MK2 Technology
The TrackShaper is built on the reliable and proven technology of the HoRNet ChannelStrip MK2, which brings high-quality EQ and compression algorithms into a simple and accessible interface. By leveraging the power of ChannelStrip MK2, TrackShaper integrates advanced algorithms that cater to a variety of different sound sources. Whether you’re working with a kick drum, snare, acoustic instruments, guitars, or any other track, TrackShaper has you covered with tailored processing designed to optimize each sound source with minimal effort.
Sound Source-Specific Algorithms for a Tailored Approach
One of the most powerful features of HoRNet TrackShaper is its ability to automatically adjust the sound for different types of audio sources. The plugin includes several sound-specific algorithms that focus on key elements of your mix. These algorithms are designed to optimize the processing of drums, acoustic instruments, guitars, and more, ensuring that the sound is shaped appropriately for each source.
Each algorithm in TrackShaper dynamically acts on different EQ and compression parameters, allowing the plugin to automatically adjust the sound in a way that complements the unique characteristics of the instrument or sound source. For example, the kick drum algorithm might focus on enhancing low frequencies, while the snare algorithm could adjust the mids to bring out the snap and presence of the snare hit. This intelligent approach to sound processing helps you achieve a balanced and professional sound without having to manually tweak multiple settings.
Effortless Control with the “Effect Amount” Knob
The “effect amount” knob is at the heart of the HoRNet TrackShaper, providing you with an intuitive and efficient way to control the intensity of the effect applied to your track. This single knob adjusts both the EQ and compression characteristics of the algorithm, allowing you to fine-tune the sound to your liking without needing to dive deep into complicated controls. By turning the knob, you can dynamically shape the EQ and compression of your audio, making it as subtle or aggressive as needed.
The dynamic nature of TrackShaper’s algorithms means that the plugin doesn’t simply apply static EQ or compression settings. Instead, the effect responds in real-time to the incoming audio signal, adjusting the parameters automatically as the track evolves. This dynamic approach ensures that your audio stays consistent and balanced, regardless of the fluctuations in the input signal.
Dynamic Processing Requires Careful Input and Output Level Management
While TrackShaper automates much of the sound-shaping process, it’s important to set the input and output levels correctly to achieve the best results. The plugin provides input and output gain knobs, giving you full control over the signal levels. In addition, the level indicator helps you monitor the signal’s health in real-time, ensuring that it stays within the optimal range for processing.
A green dot will light up when the input and output signals are at the correct levels, indicating that the plugin is receiving an optimal signal for processing. This simple visual cue helps ensure that you’re always working with the best possible signal, making it easier to achieve high-quality results without the need for constant level adjustments.
The “Auto Gain” Feature for Quick Results
For users who want fast results without having to manually adjust the input and output levels, TrackShaper offers an “auto gain” adjust feature. This intelligent function automatically sets the correct input and output gain based on the level of the incoming signal, allowing you to quickly dial in the optimal settings without any effort. This feature is ideal for those working on tight deadlines or for anyone who wants to focus on the creative aspects of mixing rather than spending time on level balancing.
With the auto gain feature, TrackShaper can quickly adjust to different signal levels, ensuring that your tracks are always processed with the appropriate gain structure. This is especially useful in situations where the source material has inconsistent levels or when you’re working with multiple sound sources that require different gain adjustments.

Copy protection
The HoRNet TrackShaper has no copy protection, I don’t believe in copy protection, they are always cracked and they are annoying for the users, we all know you are not going to give away the plugin on the internet…
So simply download the plugin and enjoy your recordings!
HoRNetTrackShaper-1.2.0 does nothing but add compressor and eq to your track. The incoming and outgoing volume control does not affect the volume level of the mix, it is determined as usual with the channel's sliding potentiometer. Being a songwriter, I look for quick and simple solutions. HoRNetTrackShaper-1.2.0 can provide this solution on some tracks, but it would be too optimistic to assume that it solves everything!
I recently bought this one and see no one left a review yet, so I will be the first one to share my thoughts on it. Pretty cool plug-in. Sticking it on a track (or even a whole mix) and seeing what results you can produce with it can be interesting. After trying it out you may find it does not produce what you are looking for you and you want to use traditional eqing and compression instead, but sometimes it may produce something you dig and want to stick with. I am not a strict purist when it comes to eq and compression. If something works for you, it works, no matter how you arrive at the sound. Individual eqs and compressors, channel strips, or plug-ins like this. Whatever. Not an either/or situation for me. Just an additional tool to use alongside your other plug-ins as you go about trying to chisel out the sound you are looking for.
