HoRNet ZeroLoud v1.0.1 Now Available

We’re happy to announce HoRNet ZeroLoud v1.0.1, the first update to our intelligent loudness maximizer. Since launch, your feedback has been invaluable, and this maintenance release focuses on compatibility and stability across the most popular DAWs and operating systems.

  • VST3 loading fixes — resolved crashes when loading the plugin in Cubase 14/15, Nuendo 15, and Bitwig on Windows. Added defensive guards for sample rate and channel count to prevent initialization crashes.
  • CPU leak fixed — addressed the progressive CPU usage increase (from 7% to 25%) reported in Studio One on Windows. Added periodic reset of the true-peak histogram every ~10 minutes.
  • UI blank screen — fixed the white/blank screen reported in Logic Pro 12 and Reason 12.7 on macOS. Improved the WebView control setup race condition so the interface renders correctly every time.
  • Crackling and distortion — eliminated the audible crackling caused by denormal guard accumulation on the audio path. The guard is now applied only to the true-peak sidechain and at a much smaller magnitude.

Thank you to everyone who reported these issues through our support system — your detailed logs made this update possible. We’ll keep refining ZeroLoud to keep it the most transparent and musical loudness maximizer on the market.
